[Bg-dance] If we had a web page what would dancers like to see?

I reckon that depends on the purpose. I'm willing, if site allows (size/attachments), to load dance articles I've written in the past.

I wouldn't mind seeing some write-ups on common/favorite dances of Bryn Gwlad. This would also allow us to "point to the site" for our "local" customs in the dance. For example, the doing both cast to stars as right-hand stars in Whirligig.

This also might provide documentation for people wanting to learn to teach that may not have Terpsichore books handy.

But what I would enjoy is info that is updated on schedules...when is next 3D, what are topics/teachers for intermediate...when is next regional Italian.

Mind you, I think our dance guild mistress does an outstanding job of keeping the list informed, but sometimes it is nice to have a site with the info instead of sifting through old e-mails.

I spoke to Ceallach ( virtual scribe) about hosting a dance page on the baronial web site. He is willing to link an off baronial site to the page or have it on the baronial website.
Next question is what do we want on it.

Information please,
Isabella
