Those of you who are interested in Norse culture may like the Scandinavian dancing and music provided by Austin Scandi at Hancock Recreation Center in Austin. There will be live hardanger fiddle music on May 2nd from 7:30 to 9:30 pm for free, as always, plus instruction in how to dance Norwegian and Swedish folk dances.

Classes have been small lately, so you're sure to get plenty of individual attention. It's a very friendly group.

Austin Scandi meets every Wednesday in the back room at Hancock Recreation Center near the corner of Red River and 41st, just a little ways down 41st in the middle of the golf course.
