Subject: [Western] Pennsic Pity Party

Well since many of us can not go to Pennsic, and we have a few new players
here in Lovely Bonwicke, we have decided to host a Pennsic Pity Party on the
8th of August. It will be at Wagner Park, 26th and Flint; Lubbock, TX. We
will start around 10:00 am and run till we get too tired to do anything
else. We will have a Chivalric Tourney, Rapier Tourney, A&S display. If we
get enough fighters we can and most likely will do some melees to prep for
Gothic (shameless plug) as well as Gulf and other upcoming wars.

We have some new people that we are wanting to show them what it is like
at an event and all the things the SCA offers. We would like all that could
possibly make to come on out. We will have crash space for those that want
or need it. If nothing else there is my back yard to camp in.

We are making plans to go to a restaurant for the evening meal after the
end of a long day, and other plans are in the offing as we get closer to the
day.

So mark your calendars to come out to Lovely Bonwicke and help us lament
that we can not go to Pennsic.

I am and remain your humble servant,

 HE Chiang

 Baron of Bonwicke
