Greetings, Your Excellencies,
In order to formalize the time line I sent Mistress Gwenyth's suggestion to
Their Majesties for confirmation. It is as follows:
Nov. 12- all letters of intent due to TRM-no new candidates are allowed
after this date.
Nov. 17 (within 5 days)-the final opinion poll form with the candidates
names is posted to the baronial website.
Nov. 28-Dec. issue of Baronial newsletter with the official polling form
along with candidate letters (same as the website) should be mailed/handed
to as many Baronial members as possible. The form must be in the hands of
the populous at least one week before the official polling.
Dec. 5-15th -official polling (I will attend that, and am looking at Dec
8th)
Jan 7 - candidate Interviews
Jan. 12-Crown notifies candidates
Jan. 14-Crown announces selection publically
Feb. 25-investiture
I don't believe they will have any reason to change it, they have already
agreed to the interviews at 12th Night. I see that you mentioned in your
September letter that you plan on stepping down and that applications were
being accepted; that's good. So, we have to agree on a polling time. I know
that your fighter practice is on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings
and your Populous is on the first Wednesday of the month. Do you feel you
will get a better turn out if we did the polling at one of these venues? If
your populous is on Wed, Dec 8th I could be there for that. Of couse we
can't make firm plans till we hear back from TRM that the timeline is
acceptable.
May I discuss all of this with your seneschal, as well?
Yours in Service,
Alys
