Greetings, good gentles of the Western Region!

I hope all have returned happy and healthy from Gulf War.  Before you 
unload all your armor and crafts, please remember our Western Region 
demo at CeltFesTexas at the athletic grounds of Odessa College the 
weekend of April 8 & 9.

The Illuminated Threads guild will be demonstrating textile arts, and we 
need more representation of what the SCA can offer folks here in West 
Texas.  The Celtfest folks really, really want to see fighting. Please 
let me know if you can come and help and promote the SCA here in our 
beloved Western Region.

We're considered CeltFest volunteers, so get in free.  It's a fun 
weekend--watching the Highland games (those athletes are *HUGE*!), visit 
the many vendors, listen to lots of great Celtic music (traditional to 
rock), take workshops on subjects from Bodhran to How to Wear a Great 
Kilt, and on and on.  Please make plans to come help out.

If you can come, please send me your name for the volunteer list at the 
gate.
