Subject: [Bordermarch] My cousin in Vidor

Greetings,

This message is mainly for those of you who are from Vidor. For the others
please forgive the bandwidth.

As some of you know my family is from Vidor. I am an Oldbury, a
Williamson, a Wright, kin to the Packard's, LaPrays, Torres and others. For
those of you who know my Uncle Blue Oldbury I ask for your prayers. His
daughter Barbara has suffered with terminal Cancer for over a year now. It
has grown hard and fast through her body and now attacks her nervous system
and vital organs. Barbara has been in the hospital since Saturday and has
received several pints of blood to no avail. we were told tonight that she
most likely would not survive the next several hours (<=24). I will
therefore, most likely be home again very soon. If you know Barbara, or her
family Blue and Norma Lynn, (mom and dad), or her sisters Michelle (used to
be hargraves) or Rene' please remember them this night. It would be
wonderful for her to spend another Christmas with her 4 children (oldest is
or will be a freshman next year). Barbara had her 39th birthday on the 23rd
of November. Please, ladies make sure to get your exams. Barbara's cancer
started in her uterus, and we have watched her suffer as it has spread over
the last year. as much as I wish for her family to have her for yet another
season that is selfish and I know it, as I do not wish her to continue to
suffer, I pray that His will be done. What ever path you follow, and to the
Deity of your choice, I pray that you pray for her and her family. I pray
that you remember her family and friends that will be traveling to stand by
her family during their time of need. For those of you who know the
Oldbury's well enough to stop, she is in Baptist hospital in Beaumont. And
if any of you do make it to see her, before she passes, please tell her how
much I love her and give her a hug for me, as she was too sick for me to hug
her on her birthday when I got to see her for 3 minutes.
