Subject: [Bordermarch] A Christmas thought
At this time of year, we all think about giving to those we love. But how often do we think to acknowledge that person whose love and respect we MUST have in order even to survive? Ourselves.
I think at one time or another we have all wished we could be a superhero, at some time in our lives. So why not be one? Okay, so you don't have the power of Superman. Okay, so you can't singlehandedly avert a global catastrophe. It doesn't matter. That's not what makes a hero.
This Christmas, think about giving yourself and those around you the gift of joy and pride in who you are, possibly beyond anything you've ever felt. Think about deciding that you get to BE that man or woman who is saving humanity.
Even if it's only one person at a time.
In Joyful Service,
Iain MacCrimmon

"You should. It's barely less important than your own heartbeat."
"I don't pay attention to that either."
