Greetings unto the entire populace of Ansteorra:

I received the following letter from my Laurel, Shanahan the Fey.  She is
very upset and has asked us all for a bit of help.  What she hasn't said is
that she will have no where to live and she is in desperate need of surgery
to her hips, or she may never be able to walk again.  Mistress Shanahan has
been in extreme pain for quite awhile now, as the nerves that travel through
her hips and down her legs have been being crushed to the point that they
cause excruciating pain and are now beginning to cause numbness and the
inability for her to walk.  If she does get to have the surgery, she will
not be able to do anything for about 6 months.  She is loosing her job,
through no fault of her own, as the grant is being pulled from the section
that she works in.  She can no longer work full time and is very likely
going to be totally disabled very soon.  If anyone can help her in anyway,
it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you one and all, in advance, for any help that you can give.

If anyone has access to Ansteorra Announce, could they please forward this
missive on to it.

Greetings all,

Well the word has come down.  I MUST be out of my house no later than
August 15th... preferably July 31.  If they have to file court papers
or do any of that legal stuff, they play hard and dirty and will get
the IRS involved.  If I voluntarily 'return' the house, they will
just 'make it go away'.

So, I am begging now for help ASAP!!  Staorage space for a box or two
or three, separate items of furniture, etc.... anything.  And for
help to move the stuff.  And maybe help to pack....?

Recently, Fo told me to think of this as if the Mongols had been
sighted on the hilltop and were headed this way.  He suggested I grab
whatever I can't live without and run.  Well, that's about what it
has become.  I have a lot of 'good' things that others might could
use so, as a sort of 'Thank-you-for-your-help', anything that is left
is up for grabs.  You want it, it's yours - take it away.  That
includes the plants... Anything close to the house will be destroyed
if they come to move the house.

I know that all this was a possibility and should have been prepared
but now that it's happened, I'm falling apart at the seams.  Any help
will be greatly appreciated and you have my permission to post this
or send this wherever, to whomever you wish.
