[Bordermarch] GulfWar XV

  Hey Guys,
   
        Not to have any misunderstandings. I do 50-60 hrs of volunteering at G.W. What I wanted to know was, when you turn in your hours, is there a reason to make sure that Bordermarch gets"2 hrs". I didn't know if we have a comptition going on with another Baronry or what. It was just the way Armand stated it that I thought I needed to make sure that I sign over 2 hrs for "a reason".
   Volunteering is one of the best ways to have fun at G.R. You will meet a wild range of people that play the same game from all over the world . You will always learn something new every day and in most cases you will also impart something of yourself for someone else to learn something new from you. Besides it cool to do .
   
   Sorry for the hoop-la ,But, maybe it got some of you to think about volunteering.
   It doesn't matter if it's G.W. or Malee , these Events do not run themselves .It takes all of Us.!!!

Also due to that fact they may have lost several of the regular volunteers not to mention several of the TEXAS volunteers may not be able to attend this here due to recovery from the hurricanes. I  think it is a wonderful idea! that every one help at least 2hrs here and there if I was able to attend I would gladly offer my time to help. I know we did the last time we attended gulf wars and got a chance to meet some really wonderful people from other places.

  We have recieved some prizes for those volunteering, we could use more. Anything from goblets to trim. These are given to many who volunteer, no matter their home Kingdom. Also this year, every Bordermarcher going... will need to give at least 2 hours to volunteering. These areas range from Parking, water-bearing, tissue-paper stocking, gate( handing out packets/forms ), marshalling, perfo! rming watch(security), or helping with the children. The barony is rewarded for all hours given... any time given from midnight to 6am is double time. Our youth will have areas they can contribute as well. If you are unable to make the journey to war...please give something to the volunteer baskets. Everything you do, is so much appreciated. 
  Volunteering is also a WAR POINT !!
