Good Greetings, SCA Family, from the Founding Baron and Baroness Bordermarch,
The two of us have talked about this for days after the event! T'was a GOOD 30 years anniversary in many ways, of course highlighted by the current Nobles receiving coronets of the Barony at the hand of the Crown. Countess Katriona designed and produced new georgeous coronets. You might have already been told that beloved friends of Wolf Star desired to express their admiration for the people of Bordermarch and for the fun they always have with members of this populace by covering all the production expenses of the new coronets. That is astonishing! Applause to Wolf Star, with deep appreciation!

The event atmosphere was grand... everywhere at each venue, local people joyfully laboring in service, making the event fun for guests. In truth, that is what it takes. Some went over and beyond with their labors. We were so impressed with the recently larger core crew arriving Thursday morning who began set ups with little rest, continuing through Friday noon; then the same core worked as break down crew not leaving until Sunday afternoon. None of your efforts are taken for granted by stewards, officers, nobles, or royal family. This is the type of shouldering that made for one of the most successful events we have seen here since the 1970's. Neither of us can remember 'ever' in the history of Bordermarch as 'many' individuals (some 3 dozen) giving as many man hours to make it happen then pack it up. With efforts such as yours, the event took on life for first-timers, part-timers, old-timers, and youngsters who are the next generation, removed far from history by modern years but brought closer to it by what is a believable experience. Another phrase would be "Living the Dream."
Thank you, sincerely,
Simonn & Tessa
