   from herb
have ben reading some of the letters withuot answering but today i
could not work outside and got time to write. that 1armed worker who
takes care of the gardens has been working on those areas for a long
time. i live close enough that I can see the ground work from seasun
to seasun even from week to week some of the time. sometime a crew is
offloading piles and plies of mulch or shovelfulls of good dirt. that
huge mulch pile on the edge of the woods has nothing
on how many trailer loads of clean dirt i've watched them hawl in
there for the 1armed gardener to shovel around before melles
but there must be something contaguose about all that work because
people seem to want to help including the excullent baroness. you'ull
see lots of people digging around there if you just look from time to
time. people 'like' to be together there and like to wrok on some
   chore or another.
unless the baroness was planning to bury someone something in those
gardens or grounds (made me wonder if the baron was safe) her
excullency was enjouying the grounds work with her lady in waitg for
the sake of makeing the place purttier. then i new the baron was safe
because i like to work in the dirt too. who would dare to think that
her excullency would cause harm to her baron? from what i'ev seen
she is as loyal to him and his life as any good person can be.
including nomis, if he could ever be considured 'good'. but i don't
   think so.
so i don't like it when nomis or anyboudy elsce makes incinuadoes that
the baroness is not of the very highest quality character, loyel to
her noble man and to her populas. she was even nice to the invadors
   who came to the melles.
only people of high quality will get there hands dirty at work beside
   there serfs.
i know because her excullency of green verde has even worked side by
   side with me. herb.
