Just spoke with Libby, with background sounds of Ashley spoon feeding Shean some soft foods.
They were having fun.
Liquid is still difficult for him to manage due to his trache, but eating soft foods seemed to have been like a game for them, for Ashley to feed him. He is breathing on his own. Whaaaa hoooo!
Shean is in Room # 5123, Christus St. E.   Ashley may be with him far more than at the isolated ICU's rare visits.
He was signing to Ashley, "..Want"
She signed,    "Want?  Want what?"  
and he signed back "....WANT " 
and she could not figure out what he wanted until he made it clear:  "Want You"  :)

Can't you almost hear the giggles?

Scott and Dena have been up.

Still a few uncertainties about location of rehab.
If you can talk a bit, give a call to Shean's phone. Libby will answer it in the room with Ashley; or Ashley can text message with it.
