One of our elder founders has passed on.
Lady Robin of the Elm/Roberta Howard, talented illuminator and calligrapher of the 1970s, 80s, early 90s, who a few years retired to asssited senior living, has passed on. HL Therese d' Ivoire, who used to be Lady Robin's next door neighbor in the Lamar University neighborhood, conveyed the sad news this evening.
Details may be found in the Beaumont newspaper. I am sorry to not know what the details are at this time.

If you remember the first reign coronation of Their Majesties Sigmund and Siglinde, Lady Robin is the artisan who made all their event announcements for the Black Star and Trumpeters and mailouts. Lady Robin admired cats and frequently would take strays into her home. She was routinely involved in supporting animal shelters. Her ways were gentle; her hands made beautiful, graceful works. Her fine silvering hair was long, nearly to the floor, and she delicately twirled it up into a figure 8 bun. In decades past, several of us would meet in her home for research (and to pet the cats). Lady Robin had a floor to ceiling library, wall to wall in several rooms of her home, retired from her life's career at DuPont as one of their incorporation Librarians. For many years, Lady Robin produced a column in The Trumpeter entitled "Biblioteke." Her works found in the archives now belong to the ages, as does the kind Lady herself.
May she Rest in Peace.
