for the awards named below that were presented in the wisdom of
King Gunthar II and Queen Elizabeth I.

Your Excellencies Elisabeth and Santiago,
Baron and Baroness of the grand little Barony Bordermarch,

Vivat! You are an inspiration to your populace, and -say our neighbors in 
other groups-  to your neighbors as well.
Thank YOU for the plenteous preparation opportunities and meetings months 
and weeks
ahead of time to iron out some kinks.

My personal emails are already also receiving feedback from GA visitors and 
from some of the Ansteorran volunteers who stepped up to assist in various 
needed areas.
As our little barony Melees event keeps growing larger, it blesses my inner 
heart and soul to see so "many" visitors come here to experience that which 
*is* a vivid part of the Dream.

At least a few of us, as I am aware, are making subliminal lists of 
suggestions to remember and some to suggest to alter for future events, and 
will happily discuss at the wrap-up meet.

It has been a pleasure to serve
so that others may play.

To BAM Coordinators and Volunteers and to our Bordermarch Family,

Thank you will never be enough to say how much Santiago and I appreciate all 
that you did to help make this a successful Autumn Melees. So many of you 
helped above and beyond what was expected in your coordinator position or 
just as a volunteer. This event was truly YOURS. You did it!! You all made 
it happen. Without you and your continued support at each event we would not 
be able to bring in the people and make so many dreams come true. It is such 
a reward to see so many enjoy our events and cheer as the leave "Bordermarch 
Rocks!" Yes we do!!! If we continue the dream they will come...many, many, 
many thanks from the bottom of our hearts.


Congratulations also to:
L. Colecte who received a Thistle in Middle Eastern Dance
L. Nikolai for his Thistle in Brewing
M'Lord Okin for his Rising Star
and for
L. Phocus who received a hand sketched chalice done by Dutches Willow and 
given in her honor for his generosity, love and loyalty to this Barony. He 
was chosen by the many people present who saw his selfless acts of kindness 
and determination to make this event and all events happen and look as 
flawless as possible. He is an inspiration to us all and truly deserving.

And last but not least.....Congratulations to our NEW "Excellency" Honorable 
Theresa d'Ivoire who received one of the highest honors a crown can give, a 
Court Barony of Ansteorra. Her Excellency Theresa has been and done and 
given many things over many years to this Barony, Ansteorra and the SCA as a 
family. She is a rare find and she is Bordermarchs!! Vivat Theresa!
