[Bordermarch] IKE

Sept 16th:
We Wimberleys are back in Silsbee, got in Tuesday afternoon and assessed the damages. A few downed trees, some small debris, but we have come out much better than we did from Rita.
We got a generator this morning, and have the fridge, deep freeze, and a wall unit a/c plugged in, and can also power the telly (satellite), and the computer if needed, hence this email update.
Think we can salvage most of the freezer food, but probably not the contents of the fridge. :-)
Have camp stove and weber charcoal grill, can cook. No electricity, are hearing that it will be two weeks b/4 it is restored here.
We are making it. God is good.
Hope all are safe.
Wendy Wimberley (Meresankh)
