Greetings Bordermarch,

Fighter practice tonight at Roger's Park, 7:00pm.

HE Elisabeth and I will be journeying to Defender of the Fort in Huntsville this
Saturday. It's about a two hour drive from our house, but we always get lost.
We'll be leaving around 5:30am which will give us time to stop for a snacky.
We're going to the event to help Raven's Fort any way we can because of their
unwavering support of Bordermarch during BAM.
We will be day-tripping this event and will be traveling light.

The rain has slowed my many projects these last few days, but I have finalized
the design of the new Blacksmith shop. Since some large bridge timbers will be
utilized in the shop's construction, you might receive an invite for crumpets
and tea at the Baronial Manse
in the not too distant future.

I had intended to make my own medieval style arrows to match my bow, but I
couldn't snag any geese for the fletching; I opted to purchase a few arrows
instead.
I shall now challenge my nemesis, M' lord Carlos, to a shoot-off. I would like
to recreate a period atmosphere during the shoot-off with an apple placed on
Lord Adolf's big-old-water head as a target.
The period archery competition will allow me to once again wear my green spandex
tights. The tights were part of my stage costume during my early years as a
musician, I retired them just before I met my lovely Lady Elisabeth. Elisabeth
is not the jealous kind, but the green tights use to drive the women crazy! I
wish I had a Robin Hood hat, but I don't. I'll probably just use a green hunting
sock on my head.

I asked our grape expert Lord Aaron Whitewolf, about my miserable little grape
vine that never produces grapes, he gave me some sage advice. He told me that
the grape vine is not producing any grapes because there something
wrong,--WOW!!, what a wizard! He did say I need to pluck and prune something,
and take it out of the coffee can I'm using as a planter pot. Is it
self-pollinating or not? I don't know. Do I need to mate it up with another
grape
vine of the opposite sex? I don't know. I bought the vine at Wal-Mart, it
came with no instructions. Until I figure this out I will continue to purchase
grapes.

I squeezed my limes yesterday and they were still hard; I guess I have to wait
before I can put the lime in the coconut and shake it all up.

HE Santiago
