Most Noble Baron,

I will retain the "teal" duct tape and be bringing along some black duct
tape should I have another blow out. The voice has returned to normalcy.
I will be ready to fight for the right to be the champion for the best
Barony within the Known World. 

I know my mind was not focused this past weekend. I will have my lady
with me so I will have a reason to be focused, both in heart and mind. I
shall do my best to perform above and beyond all expectations. But
should I fail, I will do all I can to assist with the event.
