To our Baron
I do thank you for the invite , however, I am required to pay bills so I must
work, and that Sat. is a work day. However, I may be able to get canceled but I
cannot promise anything at this time. Just to be fair, I was wondering if you
have often met Slavic people of the Chinese/Swedish decent , as I know of no
one( including myself) who is Chinese/Swedish . Also I would like you to look up
the definition of Defenestration, as we Czech people are known for doing this to
those in high office that we disagree with (not a threat, just FYI } .

Subject: [Bordermarch] Important News!
Hi-Di-Ho-Mon-Fro Bordermarch,
At armory last night I had the pleasure of visiting with some old friends who
I'd not seen for quite some time. We talked and laughed for what must have been
8 minutes and then we ran out of things to say to each other.
Lord Beau kept grinding on the shield he was constructing, all the while playing
with a pool noodle, and M'Lord James was feverishly cleaning the rust from his
armor in preparation for battle.
I'll shall cherish those memories forever!
We are planning on utilizing not this Saturday, but the following Saturday, the
14th, to get up to site and do some preliminary pre-event stuff.
We haven't yet a clue as to what we're going to do, but everyone is welcome to
join us as we struggle with indecision.
We will most definitely end the day at the Texas Star for a nice big Chicken
Fried Steak dinner, and for those of you who previously scolded me for not
taking care of business, I have confirmation that the Texas Star will indeed
have some of that imported spicy French Pabulum on hand for Sir Simonn's dietary
needs.
It would be wonderful to have Lord Slovaczek with us. The etymology of his name
leads me to believe he is of Chinese/Swedish decent; our newest Heraldic Lady
person, Lady Jillian, is verifying this for me. The cheese in his lineage must
be what compels bees to buzz around his head. Like I said, it would be great to
have him join the group on the 14th if nothing more than to us to keep the bees
away from us.
We really need Lord Phocas with us to organize something while we're at site.
If Lord Nikolai shows up he could practice climbing the ladder to fix the
torches to the gate entrance. Perhaps his Don could offer Lord Nikolai a bit of
tutelage concerning "The Care and Maintenance of Bordermarch's Torches".
Lord Zane climbed the ladder last year but his recovery is taking longer than we
thought it would.
Since the Kosha-don fruit on the trees that Lord Aaron Whitewolf planted at site
last year will be ready for harvest on the 14th, perhaps we could get some of
our gentler ladies in the group to come out and gather some fruit for the
noon-day festivities at site. We would prefer to have Lord Chrestien Brule
handle the Kosha-don fruit, but his callused hands would surely bruise it's fine
textured peel.
One thing we will do for sure is stand in front of the castle and look at it.
An A&S day this weekend and then a Site day the following weekend! WOW! I'm
really getting Excited-ed-ed-ed-!
Paddy--- did you send that stuff into the chronicler yet?
Since I will NOT! be going to Pennsic this year, send a shout-out to Mr.
Compassionate, 'Lord Adolf the Bear', should you need some counseling.
HE Santiago
