I understand totally. It will take your dad a while, mom still has trouble with the loss after almost a year. Keep him busy, that helps mom, and call everyday. Mom loves to hear our voices.

Thanks to all who have sent words of condolence, and who have lent their support over the last several years,especially the last 8 weeks or so.  My mom fought luekemia for 20 years, and was one of the strongest people I've ever known.  The love, support and prayers of family and friends has meant more to our family than I can express.  My Mom's painful journey has ended and she is resting in peace now.  I ask that everyone continue to pray for my dear Dad who is lost without the love of his life for 47 years.
