Lady Jillian you are doing a great job and your words to our populace are grand
and heart felt. Thank you so much for helping Santiago and I out by freeing us
from this one area of concern. Our Bordrmarch family is very important to us and
knowing they're in your hands makes us relax more. We are truly looking forward
to this years event and all of our friends and family being there. We hope that
once we all arrive and get organized you will relax and have fun with your
family as well. The one thing we have learned over the years, "it's all in the
preparation then let it ride." Vivat Lady Jillian Vivat!
Elisabeth

Subject: [Bordermarch] Bordermarch Pot Luck @ Melees III
Good Gentles Who Like to Eat,
I'm collecting my notes and lists to send out yet another missive reminding
us that Melees is less than 2 weeks away and our encampment wants to eat ALL
FOUR DAYS! By Her Excellency's wish (command) we're even supposed to
eat...together! To that end, if you haven't already committed to bring
something, need an idea, are only just reading about this, please let me
know and we'll get you squared away. Our menu for Thursday evening through
Saturday morning is fairly vast and varied, so feel free to chime in with
anything you like.
To help those along who are not inclined to cook, I'm suggesting perhaps
extra aluminum foil, paper plates and bowls, any extra camp gear you may
have, cooking utensils/implements or space in ice chests may also be worth
offering. And lest we not forget, if you don't want to, can't, are totally
unsure or new at the pot luck experience, please come eat with us and share
our meal regardless of contribution! If you're part of our Bordermarch
family - near, far, whatever - you're invited! This event
is(fortunately...we like success) too large to host a site-wide feast. But
feast is something we as a group are fond of, and miss when we can't have
one.
Friday evening is the big 'dinner' and we all hope to sit and visit and
break bread together while we celebrate our jobs well-done for this, the
largest event this kingdom produces...OUR MELEES. Expect a letter later
today with more details and another menu, I hope.
In Service to the Dream,
~Jillian
