Dear Barony,


This month’s movie will be “Cyrano de Bergerac”. It is a wonderful movie
that has a little of everything, comedy, costuming, sword-play, history and
romance. By current SCA standards it is slightly post-period as it is set
in 1640-1655, but when the SCA started the time periods went through 1650.
Also, the choice for the symbol of the “White Scarf” for the rapier award
came from this story. It is one of my all-time favorites. H.E. AmberLea
