Greetings!
Crane Meadows has lots of dew berries (black berries) ripe and ready for
picking! Sunday, Therese and I will be up there by 7:30am. Therese will
likely leave between 10am and noon as she not very tolerant of the heat.
I’ll be there for most of the rest of the day.

We are inviting family and friends to come enjoy “the Fruits of the land”.
As always there is fishing in the pond – bass, catfish and blue-gills if you
would like to fish.
This will be a sort of a work day for us, but we hate seeing all these
berries go to waste.

Bring your own drinks, containers to collect berries and any snacks. We have
a few camp chairs, but if you have available- bring some chairs. We have
various fishing poles and some lures that do alright for catching bass. If
you want to really catch some fish bring some bait. :-)

GPS address: 265 Country Road 2270 (Grass Rd.), Cleveland Texas – will get
you close. We are the FIRST driveway on the South West end of CR2270 with
the black wrought iron gates. Crane Meadows is about 10-12 miles south of
Cleveland. If you GPS from Beaumont, it will likely take you in the back
roads off 105- then we are the LAST driveway on the right.

>From Cleveland head south on Hwy 321 to the 105 split to Beaumont, stay
straight on Hwy 321. Go exactly 2.0 miles and turn Left on CR 2275 at Rural
Shade Baptist Church.
>From Beaumont take Hwy 105 west until it intersects with Hwy 321, turn Left
(south) on 321. Go exactly 2.0 miles and turn Left on CR 2275 at Rural Shade
Baptist Church.
>From Dayton (Hwy 90) go North on Hwy 321 about 18 miles, turn right on CR
2275 at Rural Shade Baptist Church.

CR 2275 at Rural Shade Baptist Church follow road around curve to the right
(this is CR 2274) go about ½ mile to the first left on CR 2276(Mexican Joe
Rd.). go about another ½ mile to first Left on CR 2270 (Grass Road). Crane
Meadows is the first driveway on the Left.

Hope to see you Sunday!

Phocas/ Cameron
