[Bordermarch] Baronial Officer Changes and Candidacy's 2016

Greetings Bordermarch,


There will be a significant amount of Officer turnover this coming year, especially over the next 8 months. The Baroness, Seneschal, & Treasurer are all members of the financial committee and have significant impact on the direction our Barony takes. Two of these offices (Seneschal & Treasurer) are opening later this year & require numerous warrants taught by specific Kingdom interests. Kingdom Round Table is where these warranting classes are held. Kingdom Round Table (Red Tape) is just 30 days away. It will be held in the Province of Mooneschadowe (Stillwater, OK) on January 21st. I encourage anyone seeking warrants for officership to attend. Warranting classes can be held at other events if specific interest is asked or obtained.

Current offices that are transitioning:
Scribe: Beau to Ulferth January 1st;
Knight Marshal: Beau will formally apply for the post prior to Jan 1st;
Deputy Scribe: Joseph Jan 1st;
Deputy A&S: Ulferth Jan 1st;
Seneschal: May 1st;
Webminister: July 1st;
Herald: Sept 1st;
Treasurer: Nov 1st;
A&S: Feb 2018

Remember to always be thinking about who is best to replace your office that is in good standing with The Barony and Kingdom. Also, don't get caught up in the revolving officer cycle. Think about others that have not been in the officer seats before or in a long time. Ideally, do not hold officership for more than two consecutive posts (4 years straight). Take a break and enjoy the Society, it's People, and what it offers in terms of your personal satisfaction.
