Isabella,<br>
Thank you for assisting Their Excellencies in updating the Parchment Pages
for Barony Bordermarch. Many people will benefit from this labor.<br>
(I wish I could help the project in bulk by retrieving some usable data for
you from the by-gone memory of my computer from when the Parchment Pages
were built on a data program several years ago. ...Alas... that data can
no longer be retrieved. I can give you a photocopy of a hard copy, dated
2001...) When the project is ready to go to press, I will be happy donate
some paper for the purpose. <br>
<br>
If unaware, the Populace might be interested to know of a source that is
very informative for names and award dates found at:<br>
w w w. ansteorra.org<br>
Click on "Order of Precedence." <br>
Follow the "College of Heralds" page down to the HTML yellow box; <br>
alphabetical order will appear. <br>
For example, click on "A" to find Armand or "C" to find Caitrin; the list
shows awards/dates and personal precedence number for an order of march.
Such as theirs:<br>
8,0000,00,04<br>
8(order of march for barony in fief), 0000(year received highest rank), 00,
04. <br>
Every award recipient in the history of Ansteorra should be named at that
source. <br>
Also, awards which were omitted from this data for some reason can be verified
by appropriate scroll signatures or other historical records and sent to the
College of Heralds; then someone there can update the online Order of Precedence.<br>
<br>
Or, skip past the HTML yellow box and scroll down to the "Branch OP" yellow
box. <br>
Click on that one to find "Bordermarch" exclusive.<br>
Any person in the history of Bordermarch who has received an award "should"
be listed there with the award date. Even the inactives of ages past. <br>
If someone's data is missing (a few are), they could contact the local heralds
office about that official event report and go up the ladder of communications
from there. <br>
The College of Heralds has an automatic way to keep the on-line data updated
after event court reports are completed. I hope that material will benefit
your project.<br>
Thanks, again!<br>
