<DIV>located on the corner of Gladys Ave & 23rd St (1350 N 23rd St in Beaumont Tx.</DIV>

<DIV>When: Saturday, January 8th from 10:00 to midnight</DIV>

<DIV>HE Valencia de Granada is planning a traditional 12th night celebration, with a King & Queen of Yule Mis-Rule, a games contest, pick-up fights all day long, and a wonderful pot-luck feast! (We will have use of the church's kitchen to prepare and keep food warm.) A games contest will be held during the day, featuring mancala, chess, checkers and the like. Also, a bells & pillows game will be held after feast. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Bring your fighting gear; the church grounds have large open areas for all day fighter practice & fun. Ample parking is provided on the east side of the building. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Directions - </DIV>

<DIV>From the East:     take IH 10 west into Beaumont to the Gladys St exit. Go through the light at the foot of the off-ramp, go through the next light and the church is  2 blocks on the right. Turn into the parking lot on the Gladys side of the property.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>From the West:    take IH10 north into Beaumont to 69 N to Lufkin. Take the first exit, Deleware St, and circle under the freeway (do not go through the intersection.) Travel down the access rd to Gladys st - it is the first light - turn right onto Gladys, go 2 blocks and the church is on the right. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>From the North:   take Hwy 69 S to the Deleware St exit. Go through the intersection to the 2nd light - that is Gladys. Turn right onto Gladys, go through the next light, down 2 blocks and the church is on the right. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Site Rules - </DIV>
<DIV>There will be a site fee of $2 per person (everyone over 5 yrs old.) </DIV>
<DIV>Non-SCA members will have to sign waivers, but the $3 NMS fee WILL NOT apply. </DIV>
<DIV>Minors are welcome with a parent or guardian; if with anyone over 21 who is not their parent or guardian a signed & notarized Minor Event Waiver Permission Form and Medical Emergency Form must be provided.</DIV>
<DIV>Pets are not welcome. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The church is a DRY site; please do not bring alcoholic beverages. </DIV>
<DIV>Please police your butts; smoking is allowed but we want the church to invite us back. </DIV>
