To All Users of Weapons in Ansteorra: A CHALLENGE
 The 32nd anniversary of the Barony of the Steppes Warlord will be celebrated over Memorial Day week-end.  An event this storied in the annals of the history of this great kingdom must indeed merit the presence of the BEST warriors of the realm.
   THEREFORE let it be known that the Barony of the Steppes has issued this challenge to these great warriors of all the other baronies of Ansteorra and beyond to come to this event and do battle!  Let all of the men and women of arms come forward with their heavy weapons, their rapier, their bows and arrows, their spears, axes and knives, and their great steeds of war. Let all gather in this proud Barony and show the known world your prowess at arm, your chivalry, your glory, and your honor.
   To all others, come and enjoy the fine food and coffees available at all hours, the Arts and Sciences, the great bards, a library worthy of any King's castle.  Come browse amongst the greatest selection of merchants in the history of this event.  We have over 40 vendors of garb, jewelry, books, armor and weapons both light and heavy, leather ware, heraldry, feast gear, fabrics and trims, linen, boots and shoes, furniture, bonsai plants, blacksmithing, and so much more.  And for those tired and sore and hurting fighters and staff members we will have those of the magic fingers: massage specialists.
