<DIV>We had wind damage to our roof which has left us with many shingles gone. The rain water came in the upstairs bedrooms and bath room, then down into the dining room, livingroom and kitchen. Need less to say we have a mess to clean up, with pulling up carpets, replacing ceilings and kitchen cabinets to tear down. The porches both front and back received damage and need repair. Several trees are down around the house, but none hit the house.</DIV>

<DIV>Zane is well at A & M preparing for his master's degree thesis defense Oct 13.</DIV>
<DIV>We are chainsawing tree limbs daily, hauling to curb. 100 year old oaks felled many limbs onto house leaving the roof spongy; and punctured the garage-armory workshop. Simonn's office/Zane's childhood room on the corner by the workshop  had computer damage with lost wet carpet, pulled out. Cedar fence is down and pump-shed is askew. We shocked the pool to keep down mosquitoes. Wall blew off the two story building;  some things stored in the carport were damaged. Motorhome in which we evacuated has a wet loft bed and saggy kitchen walls. Several friends are laboring together and feeding each other; populace who are able could join, house to house, as teamwork and restore together.  </DIV></DIV>
