[Bryn-gwlad] Totally Off-Topic: PayPal

PayPal is reliable but I would advise against accepting a credit card payment from it. If you don't allow that they have to pay from either their checking account or PayPal account funds and there will be No charge for the service. If you Do allow credit card payment a portion of the proceeds will be deducted automatically from the amount YOU receive. It is 3%+$0.35 last time I checked (it may have gone up since, I don't really read all the bulletins closely). Once you accept credit card payments then henceforth none of your PayPal transactions will be free. You can ask them to switch you back to non-credit card transactions but they will do it only once as a grace. After that you are stuck with paying 3%+ on every transaction forever.

from what i understand, sellers actually pay a
percentage of the purchase price per transaction back
to paypal- but, yes, i have used it for several years
and it is a completely reliable venue.
