[Bryn-gwlad] a plea for help

This year, after a few years abscence, Pioneer Farms will again celebrate Halloween. This year's event will be Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28. The event will be from 7p-10p. The village will have a Halloween carnival with fortune teller, magician, story teller, phrenologist, and games. A hayride will begin in the village and go through the farm.

If anyone is interested in working this event, all ages are welcome. I need help both in the village and along the hayride loop to haunt the farm. It is unlikely we will have a haunted house but we may have a maze in the hayfield if the grass is high enough. We don't know how long it will take to have the new house usable so I have no current plans for a haunted house. We don't want visitors wanding the whole farm in the dark for liability reasons.

I want this event to remain family friendly while still being pretty scary. Also I want to keep it 1800's appropriate as much as possible and electricity is limited so electronic assistance must be kept to a minimum and at a little distance from the road the hayride travels. I welcome all ideas at this point. The board just approved this event so I'm rushing to get things done on short notice.

  Thanks!
  Tabitha/Rhonda
