  I'm not sure.
   
  Any kind of bow, crossbow, firearm, pretend firearm, etc. is prohibited.
   
  There is nothing listed in the Texas Parks and Wildlife info about rapiers and rattan swords and people walking around in armor, probably because that (probably) doesn't happen every day and so they didn't feel a terrible need to address it.  Though it does say you can't undress in public either, which kinda makes you wonder about state parks and fequency of occurances.
   
  Howsomeever, I do not remember fighting moments, either planned or spontaneous at the last few Yule events.  It does tend to be a time for fellowship and family (and food), so I will check with those people I need to check with and get back to ya.

  The more people who volunteer for gate at Yule, the less time each of y'all have to work. And this is the easiest gate of the year! You just have to check memberships and babysit waiver pages. No money, no  counting, no signup sheets---just waivers, and maybe a car count.
