[Bryn-gwlad] It's Almost Yule!

Don't forget, Bryn Gwlad's annual Yule event is this
Saturday out at Beuscher State Park (directions on the
BG website).

It's a potluck event so don't forget to bring a dish
to share with others.  The hall opens at 12 noon for
set-up and at 1:00 for the event. If you can get there
early to help set up, that'd be great!

Lady Ana will be coordinating the gate. Goldweard is
our potluck coordinator. Lady Alina is coordinating
the clean up of the hall at the end of the event
(Event ends at 7:30 pm.)  Please volunteer and help
these good people!

Aside from the potluck (don't forget to bring your own
feast gear), we've got Lady Dreda making toffee on
site and Samantha is providing wassail (still don't
have a  big bowl for this - anyone have something
likely? Let us know!!)  

Mistress Brynhildr is providing the plough and Lord
Thomas of Conway is providing his special hot cinnamon
cider for the retiring of the plough.

Sir Lionel and his lady, Lucia, are providing the
horse's skull for the Mari Lwyd.  

Vilhiálmr vetr will be helping the children make
caleniggs. The children will be knocking on the door
of the hall begging treats. He will be providing some,
however, if you have any small gifts or tokens to add
to the childrens booty, please bring!

Lady Coblaith is running the children's gift exchange.

Lady Ysabeau has made several medieval board games.
Please bring your games and other pasttimes to share.
We hope to have singing and dancing should singers and
dancers be inspired to do what comes naturally.

If fighters choose to suit up and whack each other, it
will be like any other fighter practice and a
marshall, etc. will be required.

This a dry site. Please respect the park rules.

Lord Thomas of Conway is in charge of the fire. He's
the only one licensed to play with the fireplace!
