I am so very sorry that you feel that way Susan, I can assure you that
having known these good people as briefly as I have that this was not
intentional. It could be that the person who was in charge of greeting the
newcomers was not there. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong
but I think it is.......Catalina?
Myself I have not been able to make it to these practices for awhile due to
my work hours when I worked til 9 pm each night combined with the fact that
I am expecting a little one and have a few health complications to go with
it.......but now I am going to try to make all the practices that I can
because I now work until 4:30 pm each day.
Please do give us another chance, and make yourself known there, we love to
meet new people I swear we do! :-) Not too long ago I was in Wal-Mart with
my daughter and I was walking around wearing my Gothic Wars t-shirt (more
like waddling around in my shape, hehe) when this very nice lady approached
me and asked me about my shirt stating that she used to be in the SCA and it
had been awhile for her. I LOVED that!
I will definitely be not at the next practice because it is the 4th of July,
but I will be at the one after that as I have promised someone here that
they could browse through all of my research I have done online regarding
12th century clothing. Please do introduce yourself! :-)
