When I stated that some might not consider pirates to be period, I did not
mean myself personally, because there will always be someone who will argue
at some point or another as to what is or isn't period. :-) With my
persona's background, I am well aware that pirates in some form or another
did exist. :-)
My apologies if my comments did offend some of you.... :-)
