Greetings From Alina Unto All & Susan:

Sorry for your experience. What happened to you is not a new problem  
of the barony or even  maybe the SCA. People are usually in the own  
little world and/or with their set of people they always hang out  
with. I have that problem often even after 15 years of being in this  
barony being the extremely shy person in most situations. You just  
have to get out there and take a deep breath. The SCA has a lot to  
offer so don't let that experience hold you back.
