Well, there's something to that, but there is one minor difficulty:
We can't. We are not a pirate group. We do not have 18th century
clothing or pirate accessories. If we decide to do that, almost no
one will show up. We might get a few people in cobbled-together
clothing standing around saying, "Aaaarrrrr," but that's about it.

The best we can do is do what we normally do, with a slant in the
direction of the movie (e.g., emphasis on later period clothing and
sword fighting, de-emphasis on A&S). A dozen 16th century people will
come off better than 2 vaguely 18th century people.

The Alamo knows we're not an 18th century pirate group. If we tell
them, "This is what we can do; is that okay with you?" and they say
yes, we should go for it. If they say, "No, we really need 18th
century pirates," then we can say, "Sorry, we're just not equipped for
that." The problem would be if we promise something we can't deliver,
or if we mislead them as to what we're intending.
