[Bryn-gwlad] Demo Details

Ok Here it is. I have been compiling a list of people who have emailed me
with interest in performing at the demo. If your name is not on the list and
you would like to help out please email or call me on my cell.  767-0949.
Please forgive me if you sent an email on one of the many "demo posts" and I
accidently skipped it.

I spoke with our source at the drafthouse, and was quite happy that there
was interest in performing this demo. He was even more surprised when he
asked how much, and I told him we were a non-profit group, but if he could
allow us to "solicit" the SCA to those who were interested. He said that was
fine! In fact great!

He has also offered anyone who does the demo entrance into the screening. So
if you are up to staying until midnight you get an added bonus. I do need to
have a general number for him.

He would like people to be there around 9 ish. I asked him if there was
anything in particular he wanted, he said that was up to us. Since this is
my first demo, I'd be happy to take suggestions of a format. :)

Piratey costumes appreciated. Anything late period for us would do. Don't
have anything late period? Come anyways!
Time: 9pm start. I'm thinking we can probably get away with not fighting
until 9:30ish or so. Depending on the crowd thats there.
Benefits: You get to help this great Barony, and get to see Johnny Depp (or
pick your favorite reason for watching the movie) on the first night, and
make all your spouses/roommates/friends/co-workers jealous.

Light fighters, your Barony needs you in this fun filled demo. Singers! Know
any rounds we can get the crowd with?

Also I am making brochures so I will need some volunteers to help me walk
about and talk to people and get the word out about our group.


Again.. Allow me to thank all who are helping out on this. Even if you are
not participating in the demo, I still appreciate all the comments and such
from the posts. They have allowed me to gather up a list of things that we
need to start improving on. I thank you all.
