We have done this in the past. However, anyone loaning materials for
such a display should be aware that they may not get such items back.
I lost over $500 worth of stuff (sword, custom made scabbard, dagger
and scabbard, helmet) because it apparently got left at a fighter
practice and didn't get back to me. I was either not at that fighter
practice or I didn't hear the announcement and the person with the
items didn't stay with the items to make sure they got back to the
right person.
So, sure, put together a display. It's a wonderful idea. Just be
aware that sometimes things happen.
