So, on this note, I am going to try to broach a VERY sensitive  
subject.  Please be advised that I am not trying to be rude or point  
any fingers at anyone.    However, having witnessed several young  
potential members leave due to this, I feel it is something we at  
least need to be aware of.

Women in their 20s trying to join the SCA often complain about being  
'hit on' and more than just a little.   When they get creeped out or  
feel threatened, they leave.  When they leave, the men in their 20s  
often follow.

I will simply leave it at that.
