Surely, my Lady, you have not been attempting to *kill* your opponents
in our contests of skill?!  I have seen your sword work and every time
I've noticed that you were fencing with a bated blade.
 
I think the Queen would be most upset if she knew that her subjects were
trying to actually kill one another!
