Good Don Eule,

I only meant "kill" only in the most figurative of
terms!  Perhaps I should have written, "strike killing
blows with bated blades", so to ease Your Excellency's
most refined sensibilities.  It is very possible I am
on edge due to all the talk of war between distance
Kingdoms.  It is said Her Majesty Herself will ride in
defense of our allies very soon.  I only wish my
duties would allow me to journey with her; but alas, I
must remain behind to tend to domestic affairs.
