Glad Greetings All,

We are beginning another great month!

Saturday, June 3rd – The Kingdom Dance & Music Symposium:

Site opens at 8am with classes starting at 9am.  The Bryn Gwlad Bardic
Championship competition starts at 10am. There will be a short court at 6pm
with a ball and hafla to follow.  It will be a great day!

Friday, June 9th through Sunday, June 10th – The Lysts at Castleton:

Site opens at 3pm on Friday with a very full schedule on Saturday and some on
Sunday.  There will be MUCH pageantry, equestrian & chivalric contests, courts,
revelry and possibly even some bardic.  Our barony is also organizing a potluck
supper in the evening before the evening court.

I know many folks are also looking forward to attending King’s College at the
end of the month in the Canton of Westgate: http://sca.clancircle.com/
King's College is always an excellent experience.

All of these events are gatherings to greet old friends and make new ones. 
These are times when we challenge ourselves to be our best for others, whether
we are setting up pavilions, serving at the gate, teaching, or finding many
noble ways of helping each other.  Events provide settings for our personae to
be played, and for everyone to share in the fellowship which makes our Society
truly great:  Friendship!
