Life is Good!
 
Now is a great time to explore new and old interests with our friends. We
have over 15 guilds listed on our web site:  Bardic, Brewers, Clothiers,
Cooks, Drummers, European Dance, Fiber Arts, Glass Engravers & Enamellers,
Herbalists, Leather, Middle Eastern Dance, Music, Scribes, Sewing, Singing,
and Widgets.  In addition there are regular meetings to consult with our
herald. 
 
What a renaissance of activity!  The martial arts are thriving and there
are many fighters at the park.  It has also been good to see new archers
joining our experienced ones.  We have enjoyed some recent tourneys and
courts at the Tuesday and Sunday park locations. 

A chivalric tourney is being planned on Tuesday, May 2nd.   Baron Niklas &
Baroness Kezia are organizing this tourney and I'm sure they they would
appreciate any assistance that can be offered.    (Sir Gideon is also
planning a youth tourney sometime later this month).     

The Dance Guild is planning a small ball on Sunday, May 14th and everyone
is invited to dress in costume, bring a dessert, and dance!   This will be
from 6pm to 8pm at the usual Wells Branch location. 
 
We will have a revel minor on the evening of Saturday, May 20th, at the
Crossed Halberds Inn!   I hope everyone will mark their calendars for this

We will be having some kingdom calendar events next month, so this is an
opportunity to make some award recommendations for many good people in our
area who deserve recognition.  Please try to have award recommendations to
me by May 20th, so we can give the Crown enough time to consider our
counsel.
