an archery competition.  We only get away with it because it's such a
large private landholding, and no one but invited guests can see us."

That is not exactly correct...the majority of Richard's property lies
outside Austin city limits...and the areas where we have held archery in
the past few years have not been within City of Austin boundaries (I've
been involved with City of Austin permitting questions at this site for
a few years now).

The city limits boundary along the lake is designated by elevation above
sea level (don't recall the actual number..something like 350') which
translates to a line approx. down the center of the area that we use for
our events (basically the main road through Castleton).
