Hi,
I have participated in the SCA since 2001 now and then when I could afford it and get off work. I haven't been to an event unforchently since 2004 and am sorely missing it all. At most events I have been to I have participated in Bardic activities, including a class at the 2002 (?) Warloard event tought by Master Pendaren (please excuse the misspelling of your name Master) which I enjoyed very much and felt very welcome at. I have also participated in archery activities including Academy of the Bow in the same year. I have used a bow since I was very young and just haven't had a bow and equipment to practice most of the time which I hope to remedy asap. I will get my self and my 9 yr old son into Equestrian activities within the next few years (he will be starting lessons in the spring and I will start refresher lessons in the fall) after we have gotten the "horses of our dreams." I also enjoy Illestrating and painting scrolls and have been doing cross stick since 2001
as well and have trim for a "plain" dress of mine done (sleeves and bell of skirt), and have done many other cross stick pieces. My dad is wanting to get into merchanting at events (learning how to do leather work such as belts, pouches, ect). Any advice for merchanting or how to get started in it, ect for him (or for me since I basically will be his business partner per say) can be emailed to me and I will pass it on to him since he does not check his email unless he thinks or knows there is something worth looking at in there.

I just wanted to introduce my self and share said information with everyone. I have the paperwork done to get my name registered with the college of heralds and need to get my device's paperwork drawn up as well and get my dad's and my son's persona name paperwork drawn up as well.

"Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."

Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the beginning. Lo they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live forever.
