Good Morning,

I have to apologize for the tardiness of this message (it's amazing when a
week after an event is 'tardy'), not to mention any misspelled names. The
most important apology I have is if I forget anyone in this long list of
people. Unfortunately my memory isn't what it used to be, but everyone who
helped is truly appreciated if you are listed here or not.

While I got a lot of kudos for the feast, it was hardly a one man show as
those who stopped by would have witnessed. This concept was something Avery
came up with and I was able to run with and orchestrate for all to enjoy.
There were many people who helped make this happen at each of the steps
along the way. Without the generosity of these individuals, there is no way
the feast would have been as successful as it was. Some people will appear
more than once in this thank you because they really pitched in to help at
the different stages of the feast.

First, thanks to those who helped in the dressing and quartering of the
red dear that we all enjoyed. Without Caitlin (of Shadowlands), this would
not have happened as it was her family's generosity that allowed this ideal
dream to come true. As well, she, Lucius and Stephanie helped me turn the
deer into the venison we all enjoyed.

Second, thanks to those who helped at the feast prep days. These people
helped prepare the sausage, green soup and feast tokens. Thomas of Conway,
Myfanwy, Avery, Nikalas, Sosha, Caitlin (of Shadowlands), Cassy (of
Shadowlands), Emeline, Dona Gwenneth, and Alfred.

Finally, thanks to those who helped the day of. These people stepped up at
the event to make the feast happen while others were off enjoying the
activities and friends. Lucius, Stephanie, Caitlin (of Shadowlands), Stefan,
Alasa, Bryn (of AEthelmarc), Katrina (of AEthelmarc), Dona Gwenneth,
Myfanwy, Alexander, Mikela, Nymandus, Mirrim, Otter and the head table
servers - Lisette, Rene and Alexander.

There are a few people in particular that I owe a great deal of gratitude.
These people did well above and beyond what is normally called for and
without them this definitely could not have happened. For Cailtin without
whom there wouldn't have been a red deer, as well as for being there to help
out at the different stages despite being from another group. Thomas of
Conway and Avery for stuffing more sausage than anyone should ever have to
see. For Lucius who kept the fires going throughout the entire cook session
in order for the food to cook properly and the aromas to permeate the site.
For Bryn and Katrina who came from AEthelmarc to visit and help me out and
had a horrible time with their travel logistics and weren't able to enjoy as
much of the event as they should have. Finally, for Myfanwy and Alexander
putting up with me throughout this ordeal and picking up the odds and ends
that I would forget from time to time.

I am glad I got the opportunity to cook this feast for the Barony and that
all enjoyed it so well. I hope that there was enough of everything for those
who partook of the feast since there were very little leftovers.
