The people who know don't talk, as a rule.  Corpora part X
(http://sca.org/docs/govdocs.pdf) for Royal Sanctions says "The
specific cause and occasion of the sanction must be explained in
writing to the sanctioned individual, but must not be published in the
kingdom newsletter or otherwise made public."  I'm pretty sure that
that requirement used to apply to Board sanctions as well, but if so,
I don't see it in Corpora.  But in any event, they won't talk either.
