Welcome to Bryn Gwlad!  I, too, have a Norse persona, as do my two kids.  And I am also an equestrian, although a horseless one, I'm afraid.  But the kids and I enjoy helping those fortunate enough to have horses with grooming, feeding, tacking up, and etc.

I'm not sure how many equestrians are involved in the local group since I've never seen them all in the same place at once, and I don't think I've even met them all.  There is a BG equestrian e-mail list, to which I am subscribed, but there hasn't been any activity on the list lately and I've forgotten how I subscribed to it!  It might be a Yahoo! list.  Perhaps one of the other equestrians can give you the link.  I do know that some of them have their horses stabled between Round Rock and Cedar Park, near Parmer & 1431.  Anyway, Sir Gideon is often at PIP on Tuesday nights, and can tell you all about the local equestrian news.

Have you been here long?  If not, you'll have a few months' reprieve before you get to find out how hot and humid it can get.

Hope to see you soon at PIP on Tuesday night in Austin, or archery practice on Sunday afternoons in Round Rock.

Hello,

I am a recently arrived newcomer to the Barony and to the Kingdom. I have been to one event, which was last September in An Tir. Aside from that, I'm a newbie.

I go by Siegfried Alexander, and I am building an 11th century Scandinavian persona. I am also a Horseman, and I wish to get my quarterhorse involved in the action. I was advised to make a callout to all ye Equestrian types out there to get ahold of me.

Any other welcome messages or information would be appreciated.
