October!  Another great month ahead!  

A special rapier tourney is planned this Tuesday, October 3rd, starting 
about 7:15 pm, and I hope all of our light fighters will participate.   

I am requesting all award recommendations by Saturday, October 7th.   
They may be mailed, emailed, or given to me in person, however I do ask
for them in writing.   If you send recommendations directly to the Crown, 
I request a courtesy copy.   I have already received some excellent  
award recommendations, and I welcome more.   

The Barony of Bjornsborg will be celebrating their 30th anniversary 
the weekend of October 20th to 22nd.  Many of us are planning to attend.  
It will be a glad gathering whether camping or daytripping.   

Bryn Gwlad will enjoy a baronial hunt and harvest faire the weekend

This promises to be a grand occasion.   We will choose our next champions
of the sword and the bow, and we will also have a youth boffer tourney.  
We'll have a delicious feast and some dramatic courts.   On Sunday 
we will have an equestrian hunt!   Letters of Intent are requested 
from all who compete for honor.  These are often sent to me via email,
though I love to receive the more artistic letters on paper or parchment.   

Life is Good whenever we are together.  We've shared some great experiences
this year and I am looking forward to many more in the days and nights ahead.
