In this 5-day workshop students will learn all aspects of egg-tempera painting 
in the tradition of the Renaissance masters.  Koo Schadler, a nationally recognized 
tempera painter, will teach the history of egg-tempera, the making of natural gesso 
ground for painting, using eggs and powder pigments to mix paint, and dozens 
of application and finishing techniques.  She will also give a presentation on the 
design principles used by the Renaissance masters.  
Each student will receive a copy of Koo Schadler’s  egg-tempera book. 
Koo Schadler’s paintings are in over 250 private, corporate and museum collections. 
She is represented by art galleries in New York, Boston and Santa Fe and teaches
