[Bryn-gwlad] Baron's Challenge - October 3rd

Good Day!

Although I am a little bit rusty at the blade,
I have trained with several dons over the years,
and I have fought in tourneys from Stargate to 
Eldern Hills.   I've also fought at Pennsic 
and at the Gulf Wars. 

I challenge all rapier fighters to test their mettle
against my steel this evening.   Of course, I will 
be protected by the Baronial Guard!    :)

Those who may defeat a guardsman in the first
round, will then face me.  Bouts with the Baron will 
be to "first-blood" and critical blows are not allowed 
(i.e. striking the head or chest).  Those who attempt 
to kill the Baron will forfeit the match, and may be 
"arrested" for treason.  ;)

The rounds that follow will be a traditional tourney, 
until the last round when the finalists will have 
another opportunity to contest the field of honor
with me (under the same conditions as before).  

Lady Rhiannon will be serving as our list mistress,
and I ask that all interested fighters please 
check in with her when you arrive.  I would like
the tourney to begin about 7:15 pm if possible.
